There’s something quietly powerful about this piece—perhaps it’s the way the swirling energy seems to move around her, yet she remains so calm, so still. That tension between flow and stillness is something I often explore. Here, the soft muted greys and peachy tones of the Rose Murex shell create a warm focal point, guiding your eye gently into hers.
 
The shell itself is one of nature’s most poetic creations. With its refined ridges and blushing hues, the Rose Murex has always felt to me like a symbol of grace wrapped in strength. Shells, after all, are the jewels of the sea—resilient, protective and shaped by time and tide. They remind us of the ocean’s calm and the strength it takes to withstand life’s currents. That’s what I’ve tried to express here—the quiet power of femininity, the beauty in holding your own energy while the world moves around you.
If you look closely, you’ll notice how the lines softly merge and overlap, creating a subtle sense of interconnectedness—like thoughts, memories carried on the wind. It’s detailed, tonal realism with a dreamlike touch, inviting you into a space where contemplation lives.
