"Look to the Sky" ~Original art by Carmen Delprat.

Oil painting on paper, 2021.

A cherished piece, this serene seascape captures the graceful moment of a seagull in mid-flight, symbolising freedom, renewal and the rejuvenating force of nature. The vastness of the sky, the dynamic energy of the bird and the calm ebb of the sea below all come together to create a visual harmony that invites peace into any space.

Did you know that art featuring water and air elements can powerfully enhance the energy of your environment?

The colours of blue and aqua, seen throughout this piece, strengthen the element of water — a symbol of tranquility, reflection and emotional calm. The gentle curves of the seagull’s wings, echoing the flowing lines of the ocean, represent the smooth flow of positive energy and harmony throughout your home.

Shells, often found in art like this, are also a powerful symbol of protection and renewal, creating a peaceful atmosphere of flow. As a timeless nautical symbol, they speak to the concept of time — revealing the past, present and future through their natural progression.

Here’s a thought — imagine this peaceful seascape in your home: What waves of serenity could it bring to your living space, your mind and your spirit?

With a balanced colour scheme of celeste (sky blue), turquoise and golden yellow, this painting enhances the energies of air and water, enveloping you in tranquility and light.

When considering size, remember: Larger pieces, especially in living spaces, can bring vibrant energy, while the visual weight of smaller pieces can create intimate focal points.

Each home is unique, and so is its energy. Choose a size that complements your space and make this piece work for you.
